Fundraising Committee Members If you are: hyper organized (or admire those who are), driven by the desire to entertain; and positive you could sell rain water in the Amazon, our Fundraising Committee is for you! We are currently looking for volunteers to sit on the FC and help plan events, round up volunteers to make events run smoothly, and solicit in-kind donations. Email us for details. NMBS has always depended on its strong volunteer base without which none of its success would be possible. We recognize and are eternally grateful for the diversity of skills our members and volunteers possess. We aim to provide opportunities for further developing their skills and for fully realizing their potential through volunteer projects tailored to meet and support individual strengths and goals. Our volunters represent a wide cross-section of the community, but all have in common a genuine desire to work with mothers and babies in all capacities. Some have children, some don't; some come weekly, others are here every day. Time committment is secondary to a positive attitude and willingness to help support our clientele as part of the community. If you feel like you may want to be a volunteer with NMBS, please stop in during business hours to meet the staff and pick up a volunteer package. Drop us a line with any questions you may have.
